AlgeFactors Publisher Description

Software for the teaching and learning of factorisation (factoring) of algebraic expressions, especially trinomials using the "cross" method. Students can practise on the "cross" method which provides extensive explanations and guidance, especially useful for beginners. It includes formulas for factorising perfect squares and difference of two squares. Practices with simple sums to help understanding before actual practices. Can generate hundreds of sums for drills (up to 200 per session). Step by step guide for beginners to ensure they get the correct answers. Students can key in their own sums and let the interactive guide help them do their homework. It marks the sums automically and can print a detailed report after each session.
